We must keep going

Sir Alex Ferguson says he trusts his Manchester United players to produce in "a big few weeks."

The Red Devils are perched comfortably in second place, just two points behind leaders Chelsea.

They face tough trips to Aston Villa and Everton in the Barclays Premier League, while David Beckham's AC Milan stand between them and a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

If you add to the mix a visit from West Ham United and the Carling Cup final against Aston Villa at the end of the month, this is a pivotal time for Ferguson's men.

Very Important

"We've got an important period coming up and we've got to keep the momentum going," Ferguson told the club's official website.

"We go to Villa Park on Wednesday, then to Milan and Everton and we've got the Carling Cup final as well. So we've got a big few weeks coming up where consistency and form is going to be very important.

"Historically we've always grasped the nettle at this time of year and the players realise there is a lot at stake and they can't afford inconsistency."

Wayne Rooney has been United's best player this season and a key protagonist in the recent good form. The England striker picked up the Barclays Player of the Month award for January last week.

Traditional Music - Kompang

The kompang is arguably the most popular Malay traditional instrument, for it is widely used for all sorts of social occasions, from National Day parades and official functions to signal the arrival of VIPs to wedding ceremonies and football matches.

Resembling and played in a manner similar to the tambourine, the kompang is approximately 40cm in diameter, with a narrow circular frame called the balos made out of the dried wood of the balau tree, that is covered with a goathide skin on one side.

This hand drum is most commonly played in a large kompang ensemble, where various rhytmic composite patterns are produced by an interlocking technique; sometimes to accompany the choral singing of zikir. Also see other reviews
